Future City Police Commissioner G. Sudheer Babu stated that the municipal elections in Shadnagar were conducted in a calm and orderly manner. On Wednesday, he visited the polling station in Ward No. 1 of Shadnagar town, Rangareddy district, to review the polling arrangements and assess the law and order situation.

During the visit, DCP C.H. Sirisha Raghavendra briefed the Commissioner on the polling process and the security measures in place. Addressing the media, Commissioner G. Sudheer Babu highlighted that India grants its citizens the fundamental right to vote at the age of 18 under the Constitution, which is a significant democratic privilege. He encouraged voters to exercise this right responsibly and not be influenced by money, liquor, or any other inducements.

He noted that cases were being registered regularly within the Future City Commissionerate limits against those attempting to lure voters with illegal incentives. Emphasizing the importance of public cooperation, he appealed to citizens to support the police in maintaining a peaceful environment throughout the election process. He also stated that comprehensive security arrangements had been made to ensure smooth polling.

The Commissioner further advised political parties and supporters to avoid causing inconvenience to the public through victory rallies after the declaration of results.

As part of his visit, Commissioner G. Sudheer Babu inspected the premises identified for the temporary DCP office and also examined the proposed site for the construction of a permanent DCP office building. DCP C.H. Sirisha Raghavendra, Town CI Vijay Kumar, Kothur CI Narsaiah, Traffic CI Chandrasekhar, and other officials accompanied him.
