16th AGM of Society for Cyberabad Security Council held for the financial year 2021-22
The 16th AGM of Society for Cyberabad Security Council was held at Novotel on Friday evening for the financial year 2021-22 and more than 120 member organizations were present at the event.
Speaking at the event, Cyberabad CP Stephen Raveendra said that SCSC has been taking many proactive steps during the past many years and most of the times, these decisions & thought process were ahead of their time and every decision took has impacted the industry very positively. He requested members to come out with their suggestions on various parameters and even though they sound very futuristic or not relevant at that point of time, they are definitely useful and he said that the department is keen to involve the industry. He recollected how SCSC talked about moonlighting as an issue, 3 months back, now the whole industry has started voicing their concerns and it is an awareness issue. He shared similar example of several other activities conducted by SCSC and briefed the audience about how Cyberabad police is very closely working with SCSC on setting up of COE and already 60 people have started work. He said within the next few weeks, the CoE will be launched formally and many would appreciate it’s functioning.
Joint Commissioner Avinash Mohanty IPS said that he as been associated with SCSC since he was the DCP Traffic way back in 2014 and he has seen it’s growth. He appreciated the volunteering work taken up by several IT & other industry professionals and thanked for their involvement and support beyond their office hours which is over and above their official work . Later, Responding to various queries on how Traffic Police will be in a position to control the traffic once all the IT employees return to office, DCP Traffic Srinivas Rao said that traffic police is fully geared up and he thanked the Commissioner for sanctioning the additional Traffic police stations and adequate resources and man power. He also explained about the concept of Traffic Task force and how they have been assigned the traffic stretches to ensure timely action from them and ensure smooth flow of traffic. Madhapur DCP Shilpavalli, SCSC Secretary General Krishna Yedula, Balanagar DCP Sandeep, DCP Kavita Dara, Shamshabad DCP and DCP Crimes Kalmesh Shingenawar were also present
