30% profit bonus for Singareni coal miners : CMD Sridhar

The management will soon pay 30 percent of the profits to workers of the Singareni coal industry(SCCL) in Telangana state. Around 44,000 workers in the Singareni industry will receive their share of profits worth Rs 368 crore on October 1. Sridhar, Chairman and Managing Director of Telangana Coal Industry said this on Wednesday.
SCCL director Sridhar explained that Singareni coal industry has achieved 26.607 crores in the year 2021-22.
Singareni Coal Company is progressing on the path of development with the collective efforts of workers and employees. However, CMD said that Singareni has achieved records in the last eight years which no other institution in the country could achieve. He said that Singareni has achieved a record level even in the dire circumstances of Corona.
1,227 crore net profit on the turnover achieved through sale of coal power, CMD said. Sridhar revealed that last year he paid 3.596 crores as taxes to the central and state governments.
