99-Day ‘Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika’ Programme to Begin in Ranga Reddy District
Ranga Reddy District Collector C. Narayana Reddy has instructed officials to implement the Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika programme effectively across the district for 99 days from March 6 to June 12, as per the directions of the State Government.
On Thursday, the Collector held a review meeting through video conference with district officials at the Integrated District Offices Complex (IDOC). The meeting was attended by Additional Collectors K. Chandra Reddy and K. Srinivas along with RDOs, MPDOs, Tahsildars, MPOs, Municipal Commissioners, ward officers and other officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that several special programmes will be conducted during the 99-day initiative covering various development and welfare sectors. He stated that the main objective of the programme is to create awareness among the public about the government’s welfare and development schemes and ensure that all eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits.
He directed officials to involve public representatives at the district, mandal and village levels and carry out the programme in all villages and municipalities through coordinated teamwork.
The Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika programme will focus on ten major themes including sanitation, file clearance, health, Arrive Alive, welfare, child safety, agriculture, education, youth and sports, women empowerment and environment. Nodal officers will be appointed for each theme. Officials were also instructed to document every activity by taking photographs and videos before and after the implementation of programmes and submit daily reports.
From March 6 to March 15, the programme will focus on sanitation and file clearance. The Collector instructed officials to organise inauguration programmes in all mandals and municipalities on March 6. Special drives will be conducted to improve cleanliness in surroundings and clear pending files in government offices.
Officials were asked to ensure clean office premises, speedy disposal of pending files, proper maintenance of records and timely delivery of services to the public. In villages and municipalities, activities such as segregation of wet and dry waste, removal of wild plants, cleaning of public spaces and sanitation drives in government buildings will be carried out extensively. Offices were also instructed to clear accumulated waste and maintain cleanliness.
The Collector emphasised that every activity undertaken under the programme should be clearly visible to the public and warned that strict action would be taken against officials who show negligence in implementing the programme.

Ramaveshwari Devi, Padmavathi, along with RDOs, Tahsildars, MPDOs, MPOs and other concerned department officials.
