Wondering as to what took BJP to celebrate Telangana Liberation Day on September 17 despite being in power at the Centre since 2014, Jadcherla MLA ,TRS District presidential, Former Health minister Dr. C Laxma Reddy observed that the real motive behind the move was to polarise the people on the basis of religion, to gain political mileage just before the Munugode by-election and the next assembly elections.
While speaking with media Jadcherla in response to BJP national vice-president DK Aruna's comments against the ruling party , he questioned her why she had not demanded the Congress government in which she was the minister, to officially observe the occasion as the State's liberation day.
Pointing-out that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has taken various steps to maintain communal harmony in the State since 2014, he alleged that BJP was trying to concoct the history to further their agenda of playing politics of religious hatred by polarising the people.
He reiterated that no matter what the BJP tried to do, TRS was going to form the government in Telangana for the third time, come what may.
