CM Revanth Reddy to Inaugurate Kaloji Kalakshethram in Hanumakonda
Hanumakonda : Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy is set to inaugurate the much-anticipated Kaloji Kalakshethram this Tuesday in Hanumakonda. Built at a cost of ₹95 crore and spread over 4.20 acres, the facility aims to become a premier center for cultural and artistic activities, paying tribute to the legacy of renowned Telangana poet and social reformer, Shri Kaloji Narayana Rao.
The inauguration will commence with the unveiling of a statue of Shri Kaloji Narayana Rao by the Chief Minister, followed by a visit to an art gallery that highlights the poet’s life and achievements. The gallery features rare photographs, memorabilia, and accolades dedicated to Kaloji, offering visitors a rich cultural experience.
State-of-the-Art Cultural Hub
The Kaloji Kalakshethram, initiated by the Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation and completed under the supervision of the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA), encompasses a built-up area of 1.77 lakh square feet. The main auditorium, designed to seat 1,127 people, is equipped with advanced audio-visual systems, making it suitable for a wide range of events including theatre performances, cultural programs, and concerts. The venue also includes four mini halls for smaller gatherings, providing flexibility for diverse cultural events.
The premises are enhanced with a pre-function lobby, landscaped gardens, decorative street lighting, and a central fountain, creating an inviting and vibrant environment for cultural enthusiasts and visitors.

Kaloji Kalakshethram is set to serve as a key venue for artistic and cultural activities in Telangana. By providing a platform for local talent and hosting cultural events, it aims to further enrich the region’s cultural landscape. The inauguration event, featuring a short film on Kaloji Narayana Rao's contributions, underscores the state’s commitment to promoting arts and heritage.
Dignitaries to Attend the Grand Opening
The grand inauguration will witness the presence of key dignitaries including Deputy Chief Minister Batti Vikramarka, District Incharge Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, IT & Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Chief Advisor to the CM Vem Narendar Reddy, and Forest & Environment Minister Smt. Konda Surekha. Other prominent attendees include Panchayat Raj Minister Smt. Danasari Anasuya, Cultural Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, MPs Porika Balram Naik and Kadiyam Kavya, as well as MLAs from the erstwhile Warangal district, Mayor Gundu Sudharani, KUDA Chairman Inugala Venkatram Reddy, I&PR Commissioner Shri S. Harish, Panchayat Raj Commissioner, and several senior officials.
The Hanumakonda District Collector Smt. Pravinya, Warangal District Collector Dr. Satya Sharada, and GWMC Commissioner Dr. Ashwini Tanaji Wakade will also be in attendance, alongside Kaloji Trust members.
