Dr. Tamilisai Sounderrajan praised Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, highlighting his strong political acumen and vast experience in the field of politics. She emphasized that her own interactions with him had been enlightening and that there were many lessons to be learned from his leadership.

During a press conference, a reporter referenced her previous statement about working with KCR, to which she responded by acknowledging that she had gained significant experience in the last four years. She had previously interacted with two Chief Ministers, but her time with KCR had expanded her political insights.

Regarding her role in approving K. Satyanarayana and Dasoju Sravan for the Council as MLCs under the Governor Quota, Dr. Tamilisai explained that these appointments were made based on specific criteria. She clarified that the Governor's MLC Quota was not meant for political nominations and required careful consideration, emphasizing the importance of adhering to established procedures.

She also expressed her disapproval of comments made by Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin and others regarding Sanatana Dharma. Dr. Tamilisai declared her pride in being a citizen of India and stated that it was wrong to project 'Sanatana' as synonymous with the caste system, as it held many positive aspects. She criticized the political gain made through such divisive rhetoric and advocated against insulting any group of people.

When asked about her opinion on the 'India–Bharat' debate, she shared a Tamil phrase that emphasized the pride of belonging to Bharat.

Reflecting on her four years as the Governor of Telangana, Dr. Tamilisai acknowledged that while the state had established itself as a medical hub, there were still areas with room for improvement in the healthcare sector. She emphasized that she did not align herself with any political party and focused on fulfilling her responsibilities as Governor.

Dr. Tamilisai underlined the minimal divide between Raj Bhavan and Pragathi Bhavan and stated that she would accept invitations when extended, regardless of the political climate.

Regarding the issue of holding back Bills, she clarified that her actions were not politically motivated but aimed at ensuring that the Constitution served the people effectively. She asserted her people-oriented approach and mentioned the need to extend welfare schemes like Ayushman Bharat to all eligible individuals.

She also mentioned that she had sent the RTC Bill for review to the Law Department and explained that her impending tenure end did not imply political retirement. She asserted her independence and determination to continue working for Telangana's betterment.

Dr. Tamilisai declined to comment on BRS MLC Kavitha's involvement in the 33% women's reservation issue but expressed support for women's reservations in local bodies.

Finally, she suggested that the savings from 'One Nation One Election' could be directed toward improving education in all states.
