FPTA 65th AGM and Conference to Bring Paper Trade Fraternity Together in Hyderabad

The 65th Annual General Meeting and Conference of the Federation of Paper Traders’ Associations of India (FPTA), hosted by the Telangana Paper Merchants’ Association (TPMA), is being held on October 3 and 4 at Novotel HICC, Hyderabad. The two-day national gathering will bring together members of the paper trade fraternity from across the country for discussions on the industry, knowledge sharing, networking and fellowship.

The inaugural ceremony is scheduled for October 3 from 2.30 pm. Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla will attend as the principal dignitary. Rajesh Ponnuru, CEO, ITC Ltd (PSPD), will be the chief guest.

Pawan Agarwal, President of IPMA and CMD of Naini Papers Ltd; A. S. Mehta, President and Director of JK Paper Ltd; and Sushil Kumar Khetan, CEO and Whole-Time Director of Emami Paper Mills Ltd, will attend as guests of honour. FPTA President Rajesh Jain will preside over the inaugural ceremony.

A hi-tea session will follow the inaugural programme, providing members and guests an opportunity to interact and strengthen professional relations. A motivational session featuring life coach and author Gaur Gopal Das is scheduled from 6 pm to 8 pm.

The conference will also witness the installation of Kishan Singh as President of FPTA, along with the newly elected FPTA office-bearers and managing committee members. The installation ceremony will be followed by a grand dinner for members and guests.

The conference has been organised with the support of several industry partners from the paper manufacturing, trading and allied sectors. Emami Paper Mills, ITC Ltd (PSPD), West Coast Paper Mills, Naini Papers, JK Paper, Suvarna Durga Paper Mills, Tirumala Balaji Paper, Pancom Business Solutions and several other companies are supporting different sessions and activities.

TPMA President Abhishek Vijayawargiya, Hon. Secretary Ashish Jain Bhansali, Vice President Ramesh Rathi, Joint Secretary Srinath Asawa, Hon. Treasurer Vikas Kumar Sha and Joint Treasurer Teju Guduru are among the TPMA office-bearers involved in organising the event.

The TPMA managing committee includes Abhay Kumar Jain, Anand Bajaj, Dinesh Rathi, Jitender Kumar Agarwal, Rakesh Kumar Bangur, Sukamanchi Ajith and Vicky Jain. Co-opted members include Aakash Tapadia, Abhishek Tapadia and Rajeev Baldwa.

Various FPTA committees, including reception, finance, souvenir, transport, hospitality, food, technical and protocol, media and publicity, accounts and audit, entertainment, awards and venue operations, are coordinating arrangements for the conference.

The organisers said the event would provide a platform for members of the paper trade fraternity to exchange ideas, build professional networks and discuss developments relevant to the industry.
