In another pre-poll boost for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Hyderabad Youth Courage (HYC) founder Salman Khan joined the party on Thursday in the presence of BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao.

The induction took place as part of the BRS’s intensified campaign efforts for the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election scheduled on November 11. Salman Khan’s entry is being viewed as a strategic move to attract the youth and minority vote in the constituency, where both the Congress and BJP are mounting aggressive campaigns.

Party sources said that KTR welcomed Salman Khan into the BRS fold, expressing confidence that his joining would strengthen the party’s grassroots network in Hyderabad. The move follows a series of recent inductions into the BRS, including Congress candidate Naveen Yadav’s cousin Gautam Yadav, signaling the party’s renewed focus on consolidating local influence ahead of polling.
