District Collector P. Udaykumar said that measures should be taken so that the farmers do not face any difficulties in the purchase of rice grain. On Thursday morning, the Telakapally PACS grain purchase center and market yard were inspected.  Farmers are already facing difficulties due to untimely rain, and it is advised to buy without bothering the farmer who is a little hesitant in terms of humidity.  In the case of talu too, they said that depreciation should be taken only as per the rules and that 4 to 5 kg of depreciation should not be taken per quintal.  It has been suggested that the necessary tarpaulins should be provided to the farmers who bring grain to the purchase center.  They want to ensure that the collected grain is sent to the millers from time to time.
The collector who spoke to the farmers asked why there were problems.  Chinnayya and Ishwar, the farmers who brought the grain, said that this time, the yield of the crop has decreased because of the pest.  Similarly, even if the grain brought is dried in the morning, it will get wet in the evening due to untimely rain.  They asked to order it in such a way that the moisture content is slightly increased.  Arugalam was asked to cooperate in selling the hard-cultivated crop as the pigs would not attack the grain piles at night.  The responding Collector ordered the officials to ensure that the farmers do not face any difficulties.

District Civil Supply Officer Mohan Babu, D.Yam.  Bal Raj, Tehsildar Tabitha, PPC incharges, farmers and others were with the collector.
