The Telangana National Unity Diamond Festival was held in Patancheru town under the leadership of local Patancheru legislator Gudem Mahipal Reddy.
Thousands of students, women, employees of government departments, officials, public representatives and people from all walks of life hoisted national flags and expressed the spirit of unity.
A diamond jubilee rally was held at Maitri Stadium with hundreds of bullets and national flags from Lakshmi Gardens under Ramachandrapuram Division.
A huge rally was organized with national flags from MLA camp office with students, women's groups and staff of government departments.
Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy himself carried the national flag and cheered everyone by walking on the booni bullet. Later, in a meeting organized at Maitri Stadium, MLA GMR said that Chief Minister KCR has succeeded in building Telangana, which had been fought for, into a golden Telangana. He said that welfare schemes were introduced with the aim of economic development of all sections and made it a compass for the country. He criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party for inciting communal riots in the state of Telangana, which is a reflection of the Ganga Jamuna Tehjeeb culture and conspiring to disintegrate the green Telangana. He said that the people of Telangana are wise and they will sing the end of the BJP which is indulging in communal politics. On this occasion, cultural programs organized by students of various schools entertained everyone. A large number of public representatives of the constituency, officials of all departments, staff, people from all walks of life and students participated in this program.
