MLA GMR gave a unique gift to the journalists of Patancheru constituency on his birthday. he said that he has committed to the health and safety of the journalists who are known as the fourth pillar of democracy who standing up to solving the public problems, and propagating the benefits of government initiatives, 80 journalists working in various newspapers and channels in Patancheru constituency have been given health insurance cards at a cost of 50 lakh rupees.
These were handed over to the journalist in a special meeting organized at GMR Convention Center in Patancheru town on the occasion of his birthday.Speaking to the journalists on this occasion, MLA GMR reminded that after the formation of a separate Telangana state, Chief Minister KCR had established a welfare fund of 100 crore rupees for the first time for the welfare of journalists.
He said that he will always support the welfare of journalists working in the constituency, health insurance cards are being provided at the rate of 15 lakh rupees per annum for three years.He said that the role of journalists is active in moving forward in the development path of Patancheru constituency in all fields. He appreciated that the development works being carried out in the constituency are being informed to the people time to time and that they are also taking the lead in solving their problems.
Journalists thanked MLA GMR for arranging health insurance for the health and safety of the journalists of the constituency.On this occasion, the constituency journalists honored MLA GMR with garlands, shawls and mementos.
