Meenakshi Chaudhary Opens Up About Her Role in "Matka"
Heroine Meenakshi Chaudhary, who is part of the much-awaited film Matka starring Mega Prince Varun Tej, shared insights into her role and experience in a recent press conference. Directed by Karuna Kumar and produced by Dr. Vijayender Reddy Thigala and Rajini Talluri, Matka is set for a grand release on November 14.
Meenakshi, who recently tasted success with Lucky Bhaskar during Diwali, is excited to release three films in a single month. In Matka, she plays the character of Sujatha, the love interest of Vasu (Varun Tej), and describes her role as having three different phases, portraying a journey of life and love.
"Sujatha is a positive, innocent character that everyone can relate to," says Meenakshi, highlighting the character's evolution over time. She also mentions the challenges in portraying a period drama, with a transformation in her look and body language to suit the era. The character's vintage look, designed carefully by the director, was a thrilling experience for her.
Meenakshi also spoke highly of her co-star Varun Tej, calling him a wonderful human being and an excellent actor. The duo shares a love song in the film, which is expected to be a key highlight of the movie.
