State Health and Family Welfare Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha received a warm and enthusiastic welcome during his election campaign visit to Shadnagar, with Congress leaders and supporters hailing his arrival as a positive sign for the party’s prospects. Party cadres, women supporters, and local residents gathered in large numbers, greeting the minister with slogans, traditional dances, performances, and a shower of flower petals from rooftops, creating a festive atmosphere across the town.

As part of the campaign, the minister undertook door-to-door outreach in support of Congress candidates Ande Mohan in Ward No. 14 and Maria Begum in Ward No. 15. Leaders and workers, under the leadership of Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar, former MLA Choulapalli Pratap Reddy, Thandra Kashinath Reddy, and former MPP Shivashankar Goud, accorded him a grand reception.

Interacting closely with voters, Damodar Raja Narasimha enquired about their well-being and sought feedback on governance, welfare scheme implementation, and the performance of elected representatives. Addressing residents affectionately, he asked whether government schemes were reaching them and listened patiently to their concerns.

The minister also held a Rachabanda meeting near the Bhavani Mata Temple, where he interacted with women residents and discussed local issues. Later, he toured several streets in the area to directly understand public opinion on the Congress government’s administration and development initiatives.

Appealing to voters, Damodar Raja Narasimha urged them to support Congress candidates and ensure a decisive victory, calling upon the public to hand over the municipality to the Congress Party through their mandate.
