Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Damodar Rajanarsimha Visit Bhupalapalli District

Bhupalapalli, Deccan News Service: State IT Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu and State Medical and Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha visited Bhupalapalli district on Saturday, where they launched a new diet program aimed at providing uniform meals in all hostels across the state. The initiative is part of the government's efforts to ensure quality food for students in government hostels.

The new diet menu program was introduced at Mahatma Jyothibapule Hostel in Gandhinagar, Ganapuram Mandal, with the presence of Bhupalapalli MLA Gandra Satyanarayana Rao, District Collector Rahul Sharma, SP Kiran Khare, and other officials. The ministers took the opportunity to have lunch with the students and interact with them.

Speaking at the event, Minister Sridhar Babu emphasized the importance of providing nutritious food to children to ensure their growth and health. He highlighted that the government has prioritized education and health through various welfare programs, including the new diet plan. He stated that diet charges had not increased for the past ten years, but the government has now raised charges by 40%, alongside a 200% increase in cosmetic charges, in order to improve food quality and ensure the students receive balanced meals.

Sridhar Babu also mentioned the establishment of Young India Integrated Schools and Residential Schools in every constituency to provide better facilities for students. He urged officials to monitor the implementation of the new diet program closely to ensure no compromises in the quality of food and facilities.

Minister Rajanarsimha added that the state government had made significant improvements to the diet menu, including providing non-vegetarian food six times a month. He reiterated the government's commitment to providing top-quality education and medical facilities to children from poor families, ensuring their safety and well-being.

MLA Gandra Satyanarayana Rao remarked that the diet charges had been increased uniformly across the state and expressed his appreciation for the government's efforts to provide better facilities and education to students. He assured that the government would continue to maintain the trust of parents by improving the quality of food and educational opportunities.

The program was attended by District Collector Rahul Sharma, SP Kiran Khare, Additional Collector Vijayalakshmi, BC Welfare Officer Shailaja, and other officials, who all participated in the event and inspected the facilities.
