National Unity Vajrotsavam to celebrate the glory of Telangana
Review of festival management arrangements with district officials:
Nizamabad : State Roads ,Buildings and Housing and Legislative Affairs Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy has urged the officials to organize National Unity Diamond Festivals in a grand manner to show the importance of the state of Telangana and the importance of this region. On Wednesday, he along with ZP Chairman Dadannagari Vittal Rao, Collector C. Narayana Reddy and Police Commissioner K.R. Nagaraju reviewed the arrangements for the management of Telangana National Integration Diamond Festival with the district level officials of the respective departments at the State Chamber in the Integrated District Offices Complex (New Collectorate). He inquired about the measures taken in connection with Vajrotsavam which will start from 16th of this month. He gave directions about the programs to be undertaken under the auspices of various departments. He suggested that Telangana National Unity Vajrotsavam should be organized grandly in a festive atmosphere without any shortcomings.
As the state government has decided to hold these festivals on a large scale to highlight the importance of Telangana, every aspect should be considered important and planned arrangements should be made, and the Vajrotsava celebrations should be successful by organizing more elaborate programs than the government expectedExhorted.On this occasion, Collector C. Narayana Reddy explained to the Minister about the arrangements being made for organizing the festival in the district After the meeting, Minister Vemula Prashant Reddy told media representatives that while India got independence on 15th August 1947, the Telangana region came from monarchy to democratic rule on 17th September 1948. He said that in celebration of the 75th anniversary of this, the state government has decided to organize Telangana National Unity Diamond Festival on a large scale to show the superiority of the Telangana region. While these celebrations will continue throughout the year, on September 16, 17 and 18, the opening ceremony of the Vajrotsava celebrations will be held in a grand manner. Minister Prashanth Reddy has called upon youth, women, students and farmers from all walks of life to participate in this festival and show the spirit that we are all Indians. On the 16th, a rally was held in all the assembly constituency centers with 15 thousand people displaying national flags Speakers will explain the priority and importance of Telangana state.On the 17th, the national flag will be hoisted in all the government offices and village secretariats to celebrate the National Unity Day. It is suggested that the national flag hoisting program should be celebrated on the same pattern as Pendragast. He said that he will participate in the national flag unfurling program at the Collectorate in the capacity of District In-charge Minister. The minister explained that arrangements have been made to transport around 3500 public representatives and students from the district in special buses to participate in the program to be held in Hyderabad on the same day. He said that on 18th there will be cultural performances and honouring programs for freedom fighters at the district center.
