Walk  for Quality

 Celebrating World Standard Day(14th October'22), Bureau of Indian Standards(Under Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil supply) organised a 5km Walkathon on Sunday, 16th October'22.
The Walkathon  was organised under the theme of 'Manak Mahotsav'. Padmashree Nalini Asthana, of Kathak exponent duo sisters Nalini-Kamalini fame, was the chief guest for the Day.
Head, B. I. S Ghaziabad Branch Office presented a Welcome honor token to the chief Guest. The Walkathon flagged off at 7.30 am by Ms Nalini Asthana following the'Manak Rath'.
The youngest runner 'Rohan', (12years)Seniormost runner 'Nihal Jee(58years) and fastest runners Neeraj and Ashish were felicitated with Walkathon Trophies, presented by Mr.Vikrant, Joint Director Bureau of Indian Standards, Ghaziabad Branch Office.

The Walkathon ended with a Celebration dance dedicated to the spirit of Quality.

Chief Guest Ms Nalini Asthana Jee shared that 'Today's Walkathon integrating Sustainability and Standards' will be a message for all masses and classes to Celebrate quality.
Head, B. I.S, Ghaziabad Branch  Office Mr. S. K. Datta wrapped the Walkathon with a Thankyou note to all the participants and with goodwishes for a healthy quality driven life.
