18th August  2022, Hyderabad :  : “ Ivory coast offers investment opportunity in every sector as we are in a  nascent stage.  With good assets , liberal economy and common currency in the 8 countries we offer a perfect investment destination for Telangana corporate ” said Mr. M. N’ DRY Eric Camille, His excellency Ambassador of Ivory Coast in India.

He was speaking as the chief guest for the World Business Forum ( WBC)  – West Africa initiative forum launched in association with FTCCI at Hyderabad today. WBC  is a platform which is promoting business, facilitating business connection between Africans and foreigners

“ We 8 countries have a common currency CFA to provide seamless business transactions and deals. Our government has the record time of giving all approval to set up business in just 24 hours!!. We also have a code of investment for transparency. Further investors can repatriate back whatever they want in the first 3 years!! ”Mr. M. N’ DRY Eric Camille added.

Welcoming the gathering  Mr.  Anil Agarwal, President FTCCI  said “  The relations between India and African countries are driven and shaped by Cultural, Historical and Political engagements for very long. West Africa with fast growing economy and vast natural resources  provides us with a perfect investment destination. With a total bilateral trade of 874.47 million US $ many large Indian companies are engaged in mineral exploration in West Africa. I am sure today in person engagement with Telangana corporate  will result in more awareness in investing in West Africa ”

Mr. Vishnu Vardha Reddy, IFS, Special Secretary ( Investment, Promotions & NRI Affairs ) Telangana Government said  “ The state of Telangana is the IT power house of India, Pharma Capital of Asia, emerging hub for Electronics and having Renowned Aerospace & defense establishments . Telangana State will support West Africa in the fields of IT, Agriculture , Pharma and Food processing. We both can engage in capacity building and skill development. We suggest to have a separate and specific West Africa business initiatives to make bigger impact”

Mr. Marius Tanoh, Director WBS, Ivory Coast said “ we are organizing WBC forum 2022 from 6-8th December 2022. It was officially announced &  launched in India at Hyderabad today. The aim is to promote business and investment opportunities in Ivory coast. The forum will have India as a strategic partner country. West Africa besides agriculture provides vast investment opportunities in Infrastructure, Highways, Food processing, IT, Pharma  and auto industries. We are confident that this platform has given us an opportunity to speak to Telangana business and share what is there and what we can offer for investments ”

Mr. Dasari Balayya representative of Minister of External Affairs for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh said “  We extend complete support and help to facilitate business between the West Africa and Telugu states. Telangana state with strong IT/ ITES, Pharma, AI and Andhra Pradesh with the largest coast line and natural resources offers excellent investment opportunities for the West Africa investors. ”
