Arun Kumar elected as President, 2nd term for Navjeevan Nagar Welfare Association..


Navjeevan Nagar Welfare Association were held on Sunday, all the colony members participated in the elections and casted their vote with much filled enthusiasm. During sometime the atmosphere turned up as if it was a general election. A total of 308 votes were polled in which Arun Kumar bagged as much as 201 votes leaving his competitor Ram Mohan behind with a majority of 95 votes.
Speaking on the occasion Arun Kumar expressed his happiness and said keeping faith in me all the residents have reminded me about my responsibility. Arun who won the election for the 2nd term as President of Navjeevan Nagar Welfare Association made a courtesy visit to Division Corporator Avula Ravinder Reddy, and discussed about his future activities.
He also added that locals heart-fully casted their votes seeing the development works undertaken in the first term, such as age old issue of children park was resolved with the help of Sr. BRS leader Nomula Sudeep Patel Goud, laying of CC roads, Ganesh Temple development, increasing CCTV surveillance for local’s safety, construction of Colony Arch and improving horticulture in surroundings. He assured that he shall always strive and work for the well-being and upscaling of the local residents.
Later, addressing the gathering Corporator Ravinder Reddy congratulated Arun on his victory for the second term. Also advised his panel to focus more on development works of the colony. He assured them that he is always available if any problem arises. Among those who attended the celebrations are Raj Kumar, Sree Ram Murthy, Sachin, Santosh Kumar, Stanley, Sandeep, Praneeth, Bhaskar Reddy, Ram Mohan, Venkata Swamy were present.
