A. Praveen, II Addl. Junior Civil Judge cum XIII Addl. Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally in press statement said that from the month of April 2022 to Till Date around 2054 drunken drivers were slapped with fines and 181 Persons has sentenced to imprisonment and also 1381 drunken persons driving licenses were suspended post conviction in a drunk driving cases.

Following the conviction, all traffic police stations have started filling charge sheets against vehicles used in drunken driving and without driving license.

Once convicted in drunk and driving offence, it would be difficult for the respondents to get Government jobs, New Passports and Visa clearances, said Magistrate Praveen.
