It was a day of joy as women doctors keeping aside white coats after routine duties decided to enjoy the day with worship of Devi and flowers. It was a gala, colourful and wonderful day for women doctors  and their family members of Indian Medical Association( IMA),Neelagiri branch, Nalgonda, Telangana as all celebrated Bathukamma on 27 the September the  famous, popular and historical festival of flowers worshiping different Devi  avatars during Navarathri  festival days. Keeping aside routine proffessional duties the women doctors gathered late nights without disturbing patient services and started celebrating  the festival of flowers.All women members with colourful dress enthralled the members with songs and dances.

Dr Anitha Rani, Secretary IMA, Neelagiri along with senior and junior members organised the celebration.

Dr PVN Murthy, President IMA, Neelagiri, Dr Ramesh, Treasurer ,Dr Arundhathi, Chairperson WDW, Dr Ach Pulla Rao, TS IMA , Council member, Dr Vasantha Kumari, Chairperson Women Doctors Wing TS IMA, and many male members too participated encouraging women doctors and their families.

Dr Jayaprakash Reddy, senior member and TS IMA Council members congratulated all members for a wonderful celebration of festival after a gap of three years due to Covid pandemic.
