Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Stephen Raveendra conducted a review meeting with the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) officers of Cyberabad along with DCP Crimes Kalmeshwar Singanawar, DCP EOW Kavitha Dara, CCD Addl. DCP Narsimha Reddy, ACP’s Shyam Babu, Shashank Reddy, Inspectors and staff of CCS- Economic Offences Wing at Mini Conference hall of CP in Cyberabad Office on Friday. 

On the occasion, the CP reviewed the nature of cases investigated by the Economic Offences Wing, work flow, and the division of work among the officers at various levels and the cases investigated by each officer. Important cases investigated by the officers were discussed and reviewed in detail and gave necessary instructions to proceed further in investigation. The CP also reviewed different types of Modus Operandi in Economic Offences Wing and their trends over the years and across the country. He Instructed to maintain check list for all the documentary and technical evidence before filing charge sheets. He also discussed about the Market Intelligence Unit and gave specific guidelines to the MIU team in order to function in a professional manner. The CP Further instructed the CCS officers to collect advance information on crimes, alert the L&O Police with specific analysis and inputs to take preventive measures at least one month before the probable gangs movement and occurrence of offences, by collecting information on happening crimes from bordering states and analysing the crime trends.
