Karnataka Fisheries Federation Welcomes Telangana Delegation
Hyderabad:: In an effort to address the irregularities in the state fisheries sector, a special team from Telangana, led by Fisheries Chairman Mettu Saikumar, was sent to Karnataka for a detailed review. This initiative is part of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's ongoing efforts to ensure transparency and eliminate corruption within government departments.
Upon their arrival in Mysore on Monday, the Telangana Fisheries team was warmly received by R Ganesha, the Managing Director of the Karnataka Fisheries Federation, along with other members of the staff at the Fisheries Department. The Karnataka team provided an in-depth overview of their fisheries operations, welcoming the Telangana team and sharing key insights into their institutional structure.
This visit marks a significant step in fostering collaboration between the two states' fisheries sectors, aimed at improving efficiency and transparency.
