On credible information the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Police Afzalgunj conducted raid at organized betting gaming house situated at H.No.5-1-479, Flat No.201, Opp: Tr. PS Putlibowli, Jambagh, Hyderabad, in the limits of Afzalgunj PS  and apprehended (04) Accused persons 1) Ram Chouhan (Main Bookie), 1) Chekuri Srinivasa Rao (Sub-bookie), 3) Shyam Sunder Vyas (Sub-bookie), 4) Mohd.Hussain (Punter), while organizing &  accepting betting amount from punters for ongoing  ‘Asia Cup’  Cricket match and gain easy money illegally. 
    Details of accused  person :- 

1.    Ram Chouhan s/o.D.C.Chouhan, age: 50 years, Occ: Real Estate, r/o. H.No.5-1-479, Flat No.201, Opp: Tr. PS Putlibowli, Jambagh, Hyderabad, Talangana State,  (Main Bookie)
2.    Chekuri Srinivasa Rao s/o.Ch.Mallikarjuna Rao (late), age: 52 years, Caste:Kamma, Occ: Nil, r/o.H.No.9-29, Ward No.16 Dwarakapuram, L.B Nagar, Hyderabad. (Sub-Bookie)
3.    Shyam Sunder Vyas s/o.Narsing Das Vyas, age: 37 years Occ: Employee I Rathi Plastic, Feelkhana, r/o.Flat No.201, Deepa Residency, Tejaswaninagar Colony, Attapur, R.R District. (Sub-Bookie)
4.    Mohd.Hussain s/o.Mohd.Ashraf, age: 31 years, Occ: G.N Collection, Near: Agarwal College, Pathergatti, Hyderabad r/o.22-1-691, Noorkhan Bazar, Charminar, Hyderabad..(Punter)

    SEIZED MATERIAL:- 

1.    Rs.2,35,000- (Two Lakhs Thirty Five Thousand rupees) (Betting amount )
2.    Lenovo all in one Desktop.
3.    (07)  cell phones (used for online betting & installed betting apps) 

    BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:-

    The accused Ram Chouhan is born and brought up Hyderabad and residing at Jambagh, Hyderabad.   He is habit of betting money on the ongoing cricket matches. He is habitual betting organizer.  To gain easy money illegally he is  organizing cricket betting and accepting betting amount from known and un known punters and gain  easy money illegally.  

     During Asia Cup cricket match he came into contact with other bookies organizing Cricket betting through www.flyexch247.com gets its login ID & Pass word sharing to Sub-bookies/Punters for live betting which provides on-line score ball to ball, as well as betting ratios and used to collect betting amount from the punters clandestinely and remit to main bookie and gain easy money illegally. He used to pay 5% to Sub-bookies for collecting betting amount. 

       For organizing cricket betting he engaged  Sub- Bookies 1)Chekuri Srinivasa Rao, Shyam Sunder Vyas.  He also accepts betting from Punters 1) Md.Hussain and others.

 ARREST:-

    Today i.e on 07-09-2022 the accused person Ram Chouhan (Betting organizer) is organizing cricket betting at his house H.No.5-1-479, Flat No.201, Opp: Tr. PS Putlibowli, Jambagh, Hyderabad and accepting cricket betting amount through his sub-bookies and punters  through online & off line mode for ongoing ‘Asia Cup’ by following  betting app  www.flyexch247.com meanwhile on tip off apprehended Ram Chouhan and (03) others and seized the above material.   
    The apprehended accused persons along with seized material were handed over to SHO Afzalgunj  PS for taking necessary action.  

     The arrest was made under the supervision of Sri P.Radhakishan Rao,                    Dy. Commissioner of Police (OSD), Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad lead by              Sri. M.Praveen Kumar, Inspector of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone,  SIs S/sri K.Srikanth, M.Anantha Chary, B.Aravind Goud,  B.Ashok Reddy, P.Ashok & North Zone Task Force  Team, Hyderabad.
