Locals remembered one of the eminent Sr. Congress leader of Kukatpally constituency Late Bhandari Prakash Goud on his 8th death anniversary on Sunday. Several party leaders irrespective of political spectrum and locals paid rich floral tributes at the statue of Bhandari Prakash Goud at Hanuman Temple Khaman in Balanagar. This program was organised by his son Bhandari Naveen Goud under the auspice of his family members.

Among those who attended and paid tributes were former MLA P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy, former Corporator's Kandoiri Narendra Acharya, Gottimukkala Vengal Rao, Mahila Congress Secretary Pushpa Reddy, Kukatpally Congress A-Block President Gopishetty Raghavendra, NSUI General Secretary Syed Misbahuddin were present.

Speaking on the occasion former MLA P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy said, Bhandari Prakash Goud was a prominent leader who strived crucially for the party's growth and he also worked in the capacity of TPCC Jt. Secretary and a great statesman, and a follower of former MLA P. Janardhan Reddy. 

After paying floral tributes Gottimukkala Vengal Rao stated that the loss of Prakash Goud was not filled in the party.
He was also the contested Corporator of Balanagar division representing Congress party. He was not just a political leader but was also a great civilian with good virtues and values, who stood always on behalf of poor and economically weak for their upliftment in all means.
