Nizamabad  | On the occasion of National Tooth Brushing Day, Meghana Institute of Dental Sciences, Mallaram, Nizamabad, conducted a Free Dental Screening Camp at Kulaspur in Mugpal mandal. The program was organized under the guidance of Chairman Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh, Principal Dr. Kalyan Chakravarthy, and Professor Dr. Aditya Teja from the Department of Public Health Dentistry.

The camp was aimed at promoting oral health awareness and educating students on proper brushing techniques and dental hygiene practices. Free toothpaste kits were distributed among students of MPPS Primary Urdu Medium School and ZPHS High School English Medium, and dental check-ups were conducted for all participants.

Speaking on the occasion, faculty members emphasized the importance of maintaining oral hygiene and adopting preventive care habits from a young age. They explained that proper brushing techniques and routine dental check-ups play a key role in preventing common oral diseases.

The institute extended its gratitude to the school managements for their cooperation and support in making the program a success. MPPS Primary Urdu Medium Headmistress Smt. Sadeeda Unnisa Begum and ZPHS High School English Medium Headmistress Smt. S. Vanitha appreciated the initiative and thanked the dental college team for their efforts to create awareness among rural students.
