The Maha Mandapam and Rajagopuram Shikhara Pratishtha Mahotsavam were held with grandeur on Sunday at the Sri Abhayanjaneya Swamy Temple, along with Parvathavardhani Sametha Sri Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple in Srinivasa Colony, Hyder Nagar Division. The spiritual ceremony was led by renowned builder and philanthropist Vegesna Venkataraya Varma, popularly known as Vertex Varma, and his wife Lakshmi Kumari.

Amid Vedic chants and rituals, the couple performed special poojas with deep devotion under the guidance of chief priest Shanagavarapu Yashwant Sharma. A large number of devotees and residents from the colony gathered to witness the auspicious event and participated with reverence.

Speaking on the occasion, Vertex Varma extended heartfelt wishes to all the devotees and said, “May God’s blessings be upon all the people. I wish everyone a long, healthy, and virtuous life. Let both Telugu states flourish with abundance and harmony.” He also assured his continued support for the development of the temple, ensuring improved facilities for devotees in the future.

The residents of Srinivasa Colony expressed gratitude to Vertex Varma and Lakshmi Kumari for their generous contribution to constructing the new Maha Mandapam and Rajagopuram. Their efforts were widely appreciated by the temple committee and the local community.

Hyder Nagar Division Corporator Narne Srinivasa Rao also participated in the pooja and lauded the couple’s dedication to spiritual and community development. The event witnessed participation from a wide cross-section of people, reflecting the unity and devotional spirit of the local community.
