Youth Enthralled at Second Edition of Maradhan Marathon in Karimnagar
The second edition of the Maradhan Marathon, organized by the Karimnagar Cyclist Association (KRCA), captivated the city's youth on Sunday, September 22, at Ambedkar Stadium. Enthusiastic participants competed in 3K, 5K, 10K, and 21K runs, demonstrating their dedication to fitness and community spirit.
Pasula Mahesh, President of KRCA and Head of IVY High School, led this charity event aimed at promoting health and well-being among the city's residents. The marathon sought to inspire a change in lifestyle for the people of Karimnagar, encouraging them to embrace walking, jogging, and running at least once a week for better health.
District Collector Pamela Satpathy, Municipal Commissioner Chahat Bajpai, Assistant Commissioner of Police Narender, and other dignitaries participated, adding to the event's significance. Prominent figures like Alphores Schools Chairman Narender Reddy and Lax School Chairman Muhammad Mushtaq Ali, along with students from various schools and academies, made the event a grand success.
Participants received medals, breakfast, cash prizes, and certificates of appreciation. The marathon concluded with vibrant dances by the youth, leaving the city inspired and energized.
