A VIRTUAL EXTRAVAGANZA OF TALENT AND TECHNIQUE -GITANJALI DEVSHALA
A melange of splendour and verve greeted the eye as Gitanjali Devshala, celebrated’ OPUS ARGENTUM’, its 25th Annual Day Silver Jubilee Celebrations, on 12th November,2022. A one of its kind event – a virtual extravaganza of talent and technique. It was along an Awards Ceremony theme with all the glitz and glamour. The red carpet was rolled out and the grounds came alive to the elements of a Live Orchestra, Photo Booths and an Award Gallery Walk!!
The school was well decorated, and the stage was lit up with flamboyant lights. The trees, which were illuminated, dazzled radiantly in the evening sky. The students looked spectacular in their exquisite costumes.
The presence of our Honourable Chief Guest Sri Ch. Mallareddy, Minister for Labour and Employment, Telangana added to the grandeur of the occasion. He inspired everyone with his encouraging words, appreciated and applauded the achievements of Gitanjali Devshala.
The corridors of the school rang in with cheer and joy as they witnessed its Silver Jubilee Celebration with much gusto. In the midst of the bells of Joy, one can hear the promise the school is making, to every child, to work towards ensuring a future for them that is brilliant and bright.
Dr Gita Karan, Founder Principal and Director, Gitanjali Group of Schools, a pioneer educationist and visionary, the recipient of many awards the most recent being “EW Lifetime Achievement Award ‘was felicitated during the mega event. Mrs Madhvi Chandra, Associate Director Gitanjali Group of schools and Principal, Gitanjali Devshala welcomed the august gathering.
It was a very proud moment to have Mr Bharat, our Alumni, who now heads the Gitam University as the Special Guest on this momentous day.
There were many vivid photo booths depicting our school's 25-year journey, which drew many parents, guests, and dignitaries to snap a picture. The annual day commenced with a prayer song, and was then followed by the welcoming music by the live orchestra, Talk show, entertaining skits, spectacular plays, mesmerizing dances, fillers, ‘Hoslon Ki Udaan’ a street play, and of course melodious music and medleys. ‘Sands of Time’- A visual delight of the spectacular journey and accomplishments of Gitanjali Devshala over two and a half decades since its inception was depicted in a brilliant manner by the talented and enthusiastic students with good wishes for the school's advancement to the Golden Jubilee.
The distinguished Management which consisted of Mr Uma Karan, Chairman, Gitanjali Group of Schools, Dr Gita Karan, Founder Principal and Director Gitanjali Group of Schools, Mr Jai Karan, Managing Director, Gitanjali Group of Schools, Mrs Madhvi Chandra Associate Director Gitanjali Group of schools and Principal, Gitanjali Devshala , Mrs Nitasha Karan, Associate Director of Projects, Gitanjali Devakul, Dr. Naval Chandra, Executive Committee Member, Gitanjali Group of Schools graced the occasion.
Mrs. Anjana Murthy, Vice Principal, Gitanjali Devshala presented the school report highlighting the achievements of the students in academics, sports and extracurricular activities. The astounding visual treat held the audience in awe.
The Former School Leaders and Teachers who had completed 25 years of were honoured and felicitated for their dedication. Teachers and Students Alumni were a part of this Landmark day.
The entire fraternity of Gitanjali Devshala was ecstatic about the accomplishment of the Annual Day celebrations wherein the screenwriting, the visual designs, cinematography, sound and music, most importantly the acting talent of children ensured that it was a huge success.
The children's breath-taking dance performances in ‘Jalwa-e-Sham’, the finale dance had the audience swaying to the beat.
The Vote of Thanks was with a twist wherein the audience were treated with the visuals along with the narration making it a ‘treat to the eyes’.
As has always been with Gitanjali Devshala, planning to perfection was the watch-word as the entire spectacle was excogitated with smooth, marble like finesse.
