DECCAN NEWS SERVICE | Nizamabad :  RGUKT faculty member Kummarri Krishna Prasad has been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree by Telangana University for his academic research in English literature.

Krishna Prasad pursued his doctoral research under the guidance of Professor K.V. Ramanachari in the Department of English, Telangana University. He was awarded the PhD for his thesis titled “Self, Society and the Middle Class in the Selected Novels of Manju Kapur.”

As part of his research work, Krishna Prasad actively participated in several national and international academic conferences. He also achieved significant academic recognition by publishing more than eight research papers in Scopus-indexed Elsevier research journals, highlighting his contribution to contemporary literary studies.

On this occasion, Telangana University Vice-Chancellor Professor Goverdhan, OSD Professor Murali Darshan, Dean of Arts and Humanities Dr. Vittal, and several senior faculty members congratulated him and extended their best wishes.

They stated that the academic achievement of Kummarri Krishna Prasad would serve as a source of inspiration for research scholars and educators, particularly in the field of higher education and literary studies.
