National Children’s Day and Self-Government Day were celebrated at Resonance School in Srinagar Colony, Khammam City, marking the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. School directors Konda Sridhar Rao and Konda Krishnaveni paid tribute to Nehru by offering flowers at his portrait.
During the celebration, the directors recalled Nehru’s words, “Nation building is done in the school and not in Parliament,” highlighting his love for children. They urged students to adopt qualities like honesty, health, creativity, and respect to contribute to the country’s development.
Resonance School is committed to shaping students into responsible citizens through quality education, technical training, and co-curricular activities. The program also included a Self-Government Day activity, where students took on teaching roles, and prizes were awarded to the winners. The event was attended by school principals, staff, and parents.
