MLN MURTHY I BHUPALAPALLI : The divine wedding of Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy brought joy and spiritual ecstasy to devotees across villages on the auspicious occasion of Sri Ram Navami in the Chaitra month. The vibrant celebrations, adorned with green mango arches and sacred chants, transformed every home and village into a sanctum of devotion.

At the Ramalayam affiliated temple in Kaleshwaram and especially at the Sri Dattatreya Swamy temple—established by the family of Telangana State IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu—the celestial wedding was celebrated with grandeur. The beautifully decorated mandapam resonated with the chanting of Sri Rama's name, leaving devotees mesmerized.

Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, along with his mother Jayamma, Sripada Trust Chairman Duddilla Srinu Babu, and other family members, actively participated in the festivities held in Dhanwada village. Srinu Babu and his wife led the ceremonial procession, carrying the idols of Sri Seetharamula in a palanquin from the Minister’s residence to the venue. Villagers dressed in traditional silk and pearls joined in, while women performed auspicious rituals en route.

The Sri Bhakta Anjaneya Swamy Temple Committee, with support from the local community, organized the wedding venue and rituals. Devotees gathered in large numbers to witness the celestial union. The Kalyanam was also celebrated with devotion in Damerakunta, Garepalli, Bayyaram, Mahadevpur, Sanjeev Nagar, and at the Sri Sitarama Temple in Bhupalpally.

Minister Sridhar Babu, who was the chief guest at the Dhanwada celebrations, offered prayers for the prosperity of all people. “This Sri Ram Navami, the first festival of the Vishwa Vasu Nama year, let us pray that our lives be filled with joy, our crops thrive, and peace prevails across the state,” he said, wishing happiness and abundance for everyone.
