State IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu Announces Major Infrastructure Boost

In a significant development for infrastructure in Manthani Assembly Constituency, Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu has announced a Rs.25 crore allocation for road construction and a new fire station at Mahadevpur. The funds have been sanctioned under various schemes to improve connectivity and public safety across multiple villages.

Infrastructure Development Across Mandals

Under the Comprehensive Road Repair (CRR) scheme and the Mandal Road Repairs (MRR) grant, substantial funding has been approved:

• Rs.10 crore allocated for all mandals under the CRR (SC Component)
• Rs.15 crore sanctioned for road repairs under the MRR grant

In Kataram Mandal alone, Rs.1.90 crore has been allocated for 27 villages, with funding varying from Rs.5 lakh to Rs.15 lakh per village. Similarly, Malhar Rao Mandal has received Rs.72 lakh for road repairs in 14 villages, and Mahadevpur Mandal has been allocated Rs.1.05 crore for 17 villages, including Ambatpally, Annaram, and Kaleshwaram.

Major Road Construction Projects

To enhance road connectivity, a total of Rs.10.77 crore has been sanctioned for Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, covering various roads:

• Rs.2.62 crore allocated for four roads in Kataram Mandal, including the Jagayyapalli PWD road and Veerapur ZP road
• Rs.3.08 crore sanctioned for Malhar Rao Mandal, improving connectivity from Koyyur to Vallankunta and Nacharam to Tadwai
• Rs.4.24 crore allotted for Mahamuttharam Mandal, focusing on key PWD and ZP roads
• Rs.83 lakh sanctioned for Mahadevpur Mandal’s PWD road to Beglur

Mahadevpur Fire Station: A New Safety Initiative

A fire station has been sanctioned for Mahadevpur, which will serve as a critical emergency response hub for Jayashankar Bhupalpally district and Manthani Constituency in Peddapalli district. This development is expected to enhance public safety in the region.
