Kunur: Preparations are in full swing for the much-anticipated Golden Jubilee celebrations of Zilla Parishad High School, Kunur, scheduled for December 21 and 22 in Zaffergadh Mandal. On Sunday, an intimate meeting of six SSC batches was held, blending the old with the new as fresh plans were deliberated to ensure the success of this grand milestone.

1989-90 Batch

The event’s core committee finalized plans for the two-day celebration, emphasizing unity and inclusivity. Subcommittees have been formed to manage various aspects, including food, stage decoration, sound systems, cultural programs, and logistics, with special attention to the comfort of female alumni. The organizers are determined to make this an unforgettable gathering for over 3,000 alumni spanning generations, along with their families.

The celebrations aim to extend beyond the school, inviting students and alumni from 11 neighboring villages to participate and contribute, reflecting the school’s long-standing impact on the community.

2008-09

Prominent guests, including Ghanpur (Station) MLA Kadiyam Srihari, MP Kadiyam Kavya, District Collector Rizwan Basha, ACP of Wardhannapet, and the District Education Officer, have been invited to grace the occasion, adding to the event’s grandeur.

 2009-10

Established as a primary school in the 1950s, Kunur High School's journey to completing 50 years as a high school in 2024 stands as a testament to its legacy of shaping countless lives.

A final review meeting will be held on December 8 at the school premises to finalize all arrangements. The committee has called upon all alumni to actively participate, ensuring that this milestone event remains etched in the collective memory of the community.
