Jangoan, Nov 25:
Preparations are underway for the grand Golden Jubilee celebrations of Zilla Parishad High School, Kunur, in Zafferghad Mandal. A core committee meeting was held on Sunday to finalize plans for the two-day event, scheduled for December 21 and 22, with an emphasis on making it an unforgettable gathering of alumni and the community.
The committee discussed forming various subcommittees to manage food, invitations, stage decoration, sound systems, lighting, cultural programs, and logistics. Special attention is being given to ensure the comfort and convenience of female alumni attending the event.
The organizers aim to bring together approximately 3,000 alumni from across generations, along with their spouses. To further enhance the event's inclusivity and significance, the committee has appealed to students and alumni from 11 neighboring villages near Kunur High School to participate and contribute, ensuring the celebrations become a memorable platform for unity and shared memories.
The Golden Jubilee marks a significant milestone for the school, which began as a primary school in the 1950s and completed 50 years as a high school in 2024. Prominent guests, including Ghanpur (Station) MLA Kadiyam Srihari, MP Kadiyam Kavya, ACP of Wardhannapet, District Collector Rizwan Basha, District Education Officer, and District ASP, have been invited to grace the occasion.
A final preparatory meeting will be held on December 8 at the school premises to finalize all arrangements. The committee urged all alumni to participate actively in the planning and to make this milestone event a grand success that will remain in everyone’s hearts.
