Minority Welfare Gets Top Priority in State Budget: Sridhar Babu


MLN MURTHY I BHUPALAPALLI: State IT and Legislative Affairs Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu emphasized that the state budget has allocated substantial funds for the welfare of minorities. Speaking at the government-hosted Iftar dinner in Kataram on Thursday, he reaffirmed the government's commitment to implementing welfare schemes, housing initiatives, and infrastructure support for minority communities.
Attended by District Collector Rahul Sharma, District SP Praveen Kare, and Kataram Sub-Collector Mayank Singh, the event saw Sridhar Babu extend Ramzan greetings to the Muslim community. He assured that measures would be taken to address their concerns, including mosque construction and essential amenities.
Several political and community leaders, including Trade Corporation Chairman Aitha Prakash Reddy, Block Congress President Kota Rajababu, and Kataram Mandal Congress President Vemunuru Prabhakar Reddy, were present, alongside former and current representatives from the region.
