Telangana Youth Congress Leader Shailender Slams Budget Allocation

Telangana Youth Congress Shailender Condemns Budget Injustice, Amidst Political Rivalry
Telangana Youth Congress Secretary Chakali Shailender has voiced strong criticism over what he describes as perennial injustices in budget allocations for Telangana. He remarked that Prime Minister Modi appears to act more like a Chief Minister for a state rather than the leader of the entire country. Shailender accused Modi of consistently displaying a dismissive attitude towards states governed by opposition parties.
Further targeting Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, he claimed she has become a mere instrument of Modi's will, failing to secure even the minimal funding required for Telangana. Shailender expressed dismay at Ex-Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao's handling of the state's finances, pointing out that Telangana has shifted from a surplus budget to one burdened by debt.
He urged Modi to adopt a more supportive and equitable stance, likening his role to that of an elder brother offering assistance. Shailender emphasized that the state had high expectations for this budget, but those hopes have been thoroughly disappointed, noting that no department received even the basic funding necessary.
