Hyderabad : Union Bank of India continued the success of its U-Genius National Level General Awareness Quiz with U-Genius 3.0, held across 48 cities. In Telangana, Hyderabad and Warangal were selected for the event. The Hyderabad City Round took place on 17th August 2024 at Sevalal Banjara Bhavan Auditorium, attracting over 1,400 students from 125+ schools.

Hyderabad Commissioner of Police, Kothakota Srinivas Reddy (IPS), inaugurated the event, joined by Chief General Manager Kare Bhaskara Rao, Deputy Zonal Head Arun Kumar, Quiz Master Palak Kumar, and actor Pradeep Kondiparthi. The Commissioner addressed the students on the dangers of drug abuse and praised the bank for organizing such an impactful event.

The quiz saw Bharti Vidya Bhawan emerge as the winner, advancing to the Zonal Level round in Vizag. The grand finale will be held in Mumbai, with scholarships totaling Rs.3.5 lakhs for the top teams. The event was well-received by participants, parents, and teachers, who lauded the bank for encouraging young talent.
