85th All India Industrial Exhibition from Jan 1
Hyderabad is all set to host the 85th All India Industrial Exhibition (AIIE), popularly known as Numaish, from January 1 to February 15, 2026, with elaborate arrangements made to ensure safety, accessibility, and a rich cultural and commercial experience for visitors.
The details were announced at a press conference held on Sunday by Exhibition Society President and State IT, Industries and Legislative Affairs Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, who said the Numaish has stood as a symbol of Hyderabad’s composite culture and economic vibrancy for over eight decades. He said the exhibition continues to serve as a major platform for trade, industry, artisans, and social harmony.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on January 1, 2026, by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, while Roads & Buildings and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy will attend as Guest of Honour.
The exhibition will remain open from 4.00 pm to 10.30 pm on working days, and up to 11.00 pm on weekends and public holidays. Entry tickets are priced at ₹50, with free entry for children below five years.
To ensure smooth conduct, 34 sub-committees have been constituted. As part of security arrangements, 106 security personnel will be deployed at entry and exit points, with mandatory frisking using metal detectors. Prohibited items including lighters, gutka, cigarettes, and arms will not be allowed. A total of 320 volunteers, including day and night volunteers, will assist visitors and protect stallholders’ property.
Security will be further strengthened with 120 CCTV cameras covering the exhibition grounds and surroundings. Fire safety measures include two underground water tanks of 1.5 lakh litres each, 82 fire hydrants, continuous monitoring by trained volunteers, and the deployment of two fire engines by the Fire Department.
This year, 1,050 exhibitors from across the country will participate, along with around 20 food stalls offering diverse cuisines. Several government departments, including RBI, Forest Department, Prisons Department, Dairy Federation, Police, Social Welfare, LIC, Tourism, Education, and Pollution Control Board, will also set up stalls.
Metro Rail and TSRTC special bus services will be operated to improve connectivity. Free parking facilities have been arranged at multiple locations near the exhibition grounds, along with a multi-level paid parking facility near Gandhi Bhavan.
Medical services will include a health check-up centre by Yashoda Hospitals, an eye hospital in collaboration with Lions International, 24x7 ambulance services, and a health dispensary.
Highlighting the Society’s social commitment, Minister Sridhar Babu said preference was given to women entrepreneurs in stall allotments. He also noted that the Exhibition Society manages 19 educational institutions, benefiting nearly 30,000 students, and generates significant employment and government revenue annually.
With its 85-year legacy, the Numaish remains a must-visit annual event, offering shopping, entertainment, food, and cultural exchange at affordable prices. The Exhibition Society assured fool-proof arrangements and appealed to the media for wide publicity.
