Bahadurpura Police seized Ganja

The Bahadurpura Police on 18.08.2023 on credible information apprehended (2 Accused person) and (1) customer near Fiza Hotel, Bahadurpura X Road who were in possession of Narcotic drugs i.e. Ganja weighing about 1190 Grams and (2) Cell phones all W/Rs.25000/- from their possession .

 

 

Details of Accused persons:

1) Shaik Riyaz S/o. Shaik Mahmood, age: 24 years, Occ: Cab Driver, R/o. 4-13-462/1, Jalal Bab Nagar, Road. No. 09, Rajender Nagar, R.R. District.

 

2) Shaik Kaleem S/o Shaik Jahangir, age: 22 years, Occ: Cab Driver, R/o. H.No. 4-13-48/2, MM Pahadi, Road. No. 09, Rajender Nagar, R.R. Distict.

 

3) Mohd Toufiq S/o. Mohd Faqruddin, age: 22 years, Occ: Cab Driver, R/o H.No. 19-4-364/11/27, Chirag Ali Nagar, Kishan Bagh, Hyderabad. (Consumer)

 

Seized material:

1) Ganja – 1190 Grams.

2) Cell phones – 02.

 

 

 

Brief about the accused persons:

The accused Shaik Riyaz and Shaik Kaleem are working in same company and working as Cab Driver. In order to lead a lavish life and to earn easy money they are selling the Ganja to needy customers and earning easy money. Further accused Mohd Toufiq is habitual of consuming Ganja and he used to purchase the Ganja from the accused persons.

 

Modus operandi:

 

The accused persons Shaik Riyaz and Shaik Kaleem used to purchase the Ganja from Dhoolpet for 3000 per KG and selling the same in High price by making small packets of Ganja to needy customer and earning easy money. 

 

In pursuance of the confession Statement of Shaik Riyaz and Shaik Kaleem made sustained efforts and the Bahadurpura Police unearthed (1190) grams Ganja from their secret possession and also seized 2 Mobile Phones. 

 

APPEAL TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC: -

 

In recent times we have seen several youth/students getting addicted to Drugs, committing crime and involving in other anti-social activities. Several families have become victims of this menace. It is an ardent request from Hyderabad City Police to the youth/students not to fall prey to drugs and request the parents to keep a watch on the activities of their children and feel 

 

 

 

free to approach police or pass information to Police on Phone No. 8712671111 to curtail such anti-social activities and strive for Drug free city.

 

The above arrests were made under the supervision of A. Sudhakar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Falaknuma Division with the guidance of D Anil Kumar, Inspetor of Police, Bahadurpura PS, & N Srishylam Detective-Inspector of Police made by A Srikanth, Sub-Inspector of Police and staff of Bahadurpura Police Station.
