MLA Gandra Satyanarayana Rao lays foundation stones for multiple works

Bhupalapalli: MLA Gandra Satyanarayana Rao on Saturday reiterated that the primary objective of the present government is to ensure comprehensive infrastructure development across all wards of Bhupalapalli Municipality. Along with District Collector Rahul Sharma and Congress Party President Battu Karunakar, the MLA laid foundation stones for several development works in Veshalapalli, Peddakuntapalli, and Jangedu areas of the municipality.

Addressing the gathering, the MLA stated that the people’s government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is giving special focus to strengthening urban infrastructure. He said works such as road widening, construction of CC roads, drainage systems, drinking water supply, and community halls are being taken up systematically to meet long-pending needs. Emphasising transparency and accountability, he said every rupee is being utilised for public welfare and officials have been directed to complete works with quality standards within the stipulated time.

Later, the MLA inaugurated a new ration shop at the Veshalapalli Double Bedroom Colony, stating that the government is committed to ensuring smooth and transparent distribution of essential commodities to poor and middle-class families. He urged residents to report any issues immediately for prompt resolution.

The MLA also participated as chief guest in the Jangareddy Cricket Association get-together, highlighting the importance of sports in shaping disciplined and healthy youth, and played cricket with players. Additionally, he inaugurated a drug and alcohol de-addiction centre at Manjurnagar run by Sanghamitra Voluntary Organisation, stating that such centres are vital to protect families and guide youth towards a responsible future.
