Hyderabad: On 18th August 2024, His Excellency Sri Jishnu Dev Varma, Governor of Telangana State, released the book "Miles of Smiles" by Prof. Dr. M.S. Gowd at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad. Dr. Gowd, a renowned dental surgeon and former President of the Indian Prosthodontic Society, has been a trailblazer in advancing dental care in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The book reflects Dr. Gowd’s extensive contributions to the field, including the introduction of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Lasers, and Dental Implants in the region. Dr. Vikas Gowd, his son, has played a key role in furthering this legacy, particularly in the area of implantology. Together, they continue to set benchmarks in dental care, ensuring smiles for generations.
