Miyapur Police Crack Down on Kidnap Cum Brutal Murder Case

A shocking case of murder has come to light in Telangana, where a 22-year-old man, Pollola Vigenesh, allegedly killed his girlfriend after she pressured him to marry her. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, had left her home with Vigenesh a few days prior to her murder.
According to Miyapur CI Kranthi Kumar, Vigenesh met the victim on Instagram five months ago and began a romantic relationship. However, when the victim demanded marriage, Vigenesh hatched a plan to kill her. He convinced the victim to marry him, and on November 8, 2024, they exchanged garlands and got married. Later that evening, Vigenesh attacked the victim, hitting her head against the wall and strangling her with a saree.
*The accused Vigenesh, along with his friends Rasumalla Saketh and Rasamallu Nandini, allegedly disposed of the victim's body on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The trio was arrested on credible information and confessed to the crime.
Investigation and Charges
The police have altered the charges against the accused to include sections 137(2), 87, 64(2)(m), 103(1), 238 BNS, and section 5(l) read with 6 of the POSCO Act. The seized items include a Honda Activa bike, mobile phone, and saree.
