Union Minister Nimuben Jayantibai Bambania Visits Kalpalli

Deccan News Service, Bhupalapalli: Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution, Shrimat Nimuben Jayantibai Bambania, visited Gadipelli village in Regonda mandal as part of her two-day tour of the district. She inspected various public facilities, including the Zilla Parishad High School, Anganwadi Center, Primary Health Center, and Rupireddypalli Farmers' Cooperative Society, emphasizing the need for a stronger focus on education, healthcare, and farmer development programs.

During her visit to the Zilla Parishad High School, the Minister personally taught a biology lesson to 8th-grade students and appreciated their enthusiasm for learning. She interacted with students and highlighted government efforts to improve educational infrastructure, aiming to inspire greater student participation.

At the Anganwadi Center, she conducted a Seemantham program for pregnant women and engaged children in literacy activities. She emphasized the central government’s focus on maternal and child health, child education, and welfare programs under the Aspiration 500 initiative to uplift remote villages.

Inspecting the Primary Health Center, the Minister reviewed daily operations, checked the outpatient register, and stressed the importance of comprehensive maternal health care to prevent maternal and child deaths. She urged medical staff to monitor pregnancies from early stages and ensure proper healthcare services.

In a meeting with farmers at Rupireddypalli, the Minister advised them to conduct soil tests, adopt crop patterns suited to soil conditions, and focus on cultivating market-demanded crops for better yields.

District Collector Rahul Sharma stated that Mahamuttram and Palimela mandals have been designated as aspiration blocks by NITI Aayog. Specific developmental goals have been set for agriculture, education, healthcare, and other sectors to drive progress in these areas.

Officials including Additional Secretary Khushbu, Additional Collector Vijayalakshmi, Agriculture Officer Vijaya Bhaskar, District Medical Officer Dr. Madhusudhan, Welfare Officer Chinnaiah, DEO Rajender, CPO Baburao, Tehsildar Shweta, MPDO Venkateswara Rao, and others were present during the programs.
