In a shocking incident, a younger brother allegedly murdered his elder brother with the help of their mother, over a long-standing illicit relationship between the families. The tragedy unfolded in Vainam district, where Gopal, the younger brother, killed his elder sibling Srinivas over a dispute linked to extra-marital affairs.
According to Thimmajipeta Mandal Police, the illicit relationship involved Gopal’s wife and his brother Srinivas , which had caused constant conflicts between the two families for years. The situation escalated as Gopal continued to warn Srinivas over the affair, leading to frequent altercations. Despite attempts by village elders to resolve the issue, tensions remained high.
The conflict culminated when Gopal, unable to tolerate the ongoing discord, devised a plan to murder his elder brother. With the help of his mother and sister-in-law (vadina) , Gopal killed Srinivas and concealed the body at their house. Villagers, who were aware of the situation, informed the police. The authorities swiftly arrived at the scene, arresting Gopal, his mother, and four others involved in the crime.
The police have launched an investigation into the matter and are processing the suspects at the station.
